In order to meet your expectations, we would like to point out some common notes.
NOTES: When it comes to measurements, especially self measurements and more specifically breath meter measurements it is very important to keep measuring standards which include measuring at specific times, maintain a similar state of the body, and constant blowing technique.
In that sense, our recommendations are to perform your measurements in the morning approximately at the same time. (For example, 5 to 10 minutes after you weak up.)
Additionally, your measurements should performed on an empty stomach, and “unaffected body”. (For example, before exercise or other activities that affect your breathing.)
Finally, you should develop blowing techniques in order to get consistent results. (For example, as the acetone levels in the lungs vary depending on the depth of the breath when you exhale while performing your measurements as well as the acetone levels are dropping every time you exhale, it is important to perform the measurements with the same blow strength as breathing.)
Also, as you are measuring we recommend performing your measurements at list 3 times in a row to find an average of the measurements for the most reliable result. You can track those levels and compare them daily. There is a large number of gas and impurity absorbed on the surface of ketone monitor when the keto monitor for the first time is taken out of the packaging, or after a long time of no use. In those situations, it needs more time for cleaning and warming up the sensor. You should repress the power button and retry several times if possible.
Press the power button to start the device. The device will warm up and start counting down for 15 seconds.
After the warm up, comes the blow countdown from 10 to 00 seconds. During the blow countdown, blow normally into the device.

Replicate the test every morning in a fasted state for best accuracy.
Auto power OFF.
After the result are displayed for about 10 seconds, the“OFF” symbol will appear for 2-3 seconds and the keto monitor will be turned off automatically.
When the keto monitor is turned on, the LCD backlight will light until the keto monitor is auto powered off.

How to use it correctly:
1. For most accurate results take measurement at fasted state in the morning.
2. Do not consume alcohol before usage.
3. Don’ t be dehydrated.
4. Measure the last few seconds of your exhaled breath. The first few seconds are mostly room air.
Once the full ”Blow” period has completed, the device will report the necessary reading by showing “Result”on the screen.
Readings of 0.00 signify the person is still not in ketosis state.
Readings of 0.20 – 0.50 signify the person is in a light state of ketosis (the process of fats being used by the body as the main source of energy has begun).
Readings of 0.50 – 3.00 signify the person is in full state of ketosis, which is the optimal ketone zone (the process of fats being used by the body as the main source of energy).
Readings over 3.00 signify the person is in starvation ketosis.
Readings over 5.00 signify the person is in too much ketosis and need medical care.
Readings over 7.00 signify the person is in keto acidosis.
